StepStone partnered with Belong Consultancy to get foundational DEI practices in place and align policies, processes, and practices to reinforce a values-based culture across the employee life cycle. Through collaborative sessions, Belong Consultancy worked with StepStone to design and pilot the Inclusion for HR development series that embed DEI in everything they do – from how they hire, develop, reward, and promote employees, to building a values-based culture.

The results?

An exclusive development series for Human Resource professionals, grounded in the latest research, with a focus on intersectional approaches and leading practices to guide them in how to value difference at each point of the employee life cycle.

Belong Consultancy facilitated the development series to all levels of HR globally, over 80 employees. Now, every HR employee and hiring manager has access to a series of guides with tips and activities to enhance understanding of how to create an inclusive experience for all employees, especially traditionally marginalised groups, use structure to mitigate their biases, and drive conscious decision-making.

Since the rollout, HR are leading conversations with fellow HR professionals, hiring managers, and senior leaders on strengths, values, and opportunities to align policies, processes, and practices to create an inclusive workplace.

While StepStone has made great strides, they know there still is plenty of work to be done to foster radical inclusion of all employees.
